  • 7.5 g Saf-instant Dry Yeast
  • 45 g white sugar
  • 600g flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs moringa powder
  • 50 ml sunflower oil
  • 250 ml warm water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 egg white

Combine moringa, yeast, and salt in a cup, ensuring thorough mixing.

Whisk together the egg, egg yolk, and water until well blended, stirring until fully combined.

Knead for 10 minutes

Form a ball of dough

Grease a bowl and place the dough in it

Cover and let rise for 45 minutes

Punch down the dough

Knead the dough and divide in 6 pieces

Shape each piece in ropes 30cm long

Gather the ropes at the top

Attach them together

Braid and squeeze the ends together

Sprinkle with flour, cover and let rise for 30 minutes

Brush with whisked egg white

Bake at 180° for 35 minutes
